The thing that really irks me is that Yamun's army outnumbers Azoun's army 70,000 to 15,000 at the second battle, where Yamun, bereft of intelligence, just orders a heavy cavalry charge to ride over the crusaders. Yamun, uncharacteristically, leads the charge himself and dies, when he is cut off in the center because the Dwarven contingent dug all those ankle breaker holes in the ground for the horses except at the center of the line. That should have been a simple victory for the Horde, they were all veterans and they had numbers on their side, which never happened for them, usually they were outnumbered at least 3:1 and still beat their opponents. Like I said, they needed to end the series status quo ante bellum. The Great Khanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18342783210750664992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5384121608336516305.post-26668672866353852282011-12-19T17:24:55.737-05:002011-12-19T17:24:55.737-05:00As another anda of our beloved Khahan Yamun I agre...As another anda of our beloved Khahan Yamun I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of the "Battle of the Golden Way" (which I prefer to recount as the Battle of Us Superior Steppe Folk getting Ass-raped...) guess that doesn't have the same poetic ring to it though. That ragtag "army" assembled by Yamun should have been shattered and begging for us to stop despoiling their mommas by lunchtime.Ogotainoreply@blogger.com
