This is a blog about "Old School" RPGs and the OSR movement in gaming. I also write about other stuff, like miniatures for wargames and RPGs, wargaming, my family, etc.

And in today's mail...
....4 old school minis of indeterminate manufacture from 2 different sellers on Ebay
Plus some Hellhounds of unknown manufacture, they appear to be 25mm scale but are but made of plastic.
And a copy of Bruce Galloway's Fantasy Wargaming, also from Ebay.
I thought it might be, but the bottom is hard to read. I think it says "1202 HM" then the copyright c inside a circle symbol and "1980". I am pretty happy with him.
He was the only one I already had a copy of. I bought him years ago, back in the 80's for my dad's cleric character as a single in a blister pack. I am happy to have another one because my painting skills have improved greatly since then.
I love the figure at the top. I remember feeling frustrated at not always being able to match figures with PCs, but that one can be a cleric, paladin, fighter or even a hireling. I think I must have one of those skinny hellhounds somewhere. Cool post.
The top one I believe is a Heritage figure. Nice find.
ReplyDeleteThe one on the right in the second pic is Verminaard from Dragonlance.

ReplyDeleteWhoa! If you got that Fant. Wargaming book from "gameagain," well...you're welcome! ;)

ReplyDeleteWhy, yes I did. I used the Ebay photo too, because they are better than the phone takes. Thank you!
Middle one, second pic is Ral Partha.
ReplyDeleteMiddle pic, on the left, with mace pointing. Came in the Ral Partha 'Rules by Ral' fantasy boxed set of rules.
